Gayle Prabhakaran

Speech Language Pathologist

Gayle is the owner of Therapy Station that was founded in 2002. She is a board-certified Speech Therapist who started her career in 1993 and has been working in pediatrics for the last 18 years. She received her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Gayle values personal connection and works hard to help her little ones achieve their goals through fun and creative activities. When she is not at work, Gayle is busy raising three teenage sons and taking care of her two dogs (Mako and Puppy}, a bearded dragon (Chubs), and a tortoise (Tortellini). In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her friends and watching movies.

Karen Cabage

Office Manager and Billing

Karen is a native Floridian who graduated from Florida State University. She has been with Therapy Station for 16 years and is responsible for the day to day operations and clerical management of the office including billing authorization and credentialing. Her role also includes providing staff support and she is here to answer any questions! Karen has a son who is profoundly deaf and understands both the challenges that come with raising a child with a disability and the importance of early intervention and therapies. She enjoys her family, grand kitties, and long walks in the park or beach and is here to help!

Sofia Velez

Office Operations

Sofia was born and raised in Ecuador and has been in Florida for the past 25 years. She is a great asset to Therapy Station and assists with running the day-to-day operations including clerical functions of the office. She also helps with our Spanish speaking clients and supports staff with bridging communication as needed. Sofia has a son who was diagnosed with a speech delay when he was young and understands the challenges of raising a child with a disability. Sofia enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and her sweet dog Leo.

Pisamai Boonyathitsuk

Speech Language Pathologist / ITDS

Pom moved to New York City (NYC) from Thailand in 2002, with a 19-year career as a Speech—Language Pathologist. In NYC she worked for 12 years as a pediatric bilingual (Thai-English) Speech-Language Pathologist and Early Interventionist in an Early Intervention Program. Pom was also as a Speech-Language Supervisor for Clinical Fellowship Year Trainees (2008-2010) while employed by Bilinguals Inc., NYC. She moved to Florida in 2014, where she continues to work with children and their families. Pom specializes in addressing the communication needs of children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This includes teaching and helping families reach their children’s communication potential. Pom loves working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, She also enjoys traveling, meditation, Yoga and gardening.

Amanda Dietrich

Speech Language Pathologist

Amanda is originally from Ohio but relocated to Florida in 2015. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 2000 with her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working in a wide variety of settings with all age groups and employs evidence-based methods while being creative and playful in her therapy to motivate children to achieve their communication potential. During off hours, she can be found enjoying family time with her husband, two almost grown children, and several pets. She also likes making pottery, traveling, swimming, visiting amusement parks and being active with friends.

Amanda Grozdanic

Occupational Therapist

Amanda is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in health and Exercise science and a master’s degree in occupational therapy. Her work experience is vast and includes working in nonprofit hospitals, home health, as well as private practices. Additionally, she has assisted in the clinic setting with program development, mentoring, and training. Amanda specializes in feeding, sensory processing, and aquatic therapy. She is certified in therapeutic listening and in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). She is currently seeking further education in PRI and Total Motion Release (TMR) techniques. When she is not working, she enjoys a variety of activities including paddle boarding, creating art, salsa dancing, and hanging out with her beautiful family, including Lyla the “Boxer”.

Jill Hardy

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Jill is a board certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She graduated from Keiser University in Tampa in 2012. Jill enjoys working with children and helping them reach their full potential. She is married and has a daughter and a dog. In her spare time she enjoys watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning play. She also enjoys working out at the gym and stand up paddle boarding at the beach with her family.

Mary Krueger

Occupational Therapist

Mary is a native Floridian and graduated from the University of Florida in 1998. She loves working with kids and exploring new ideas to help them become more independent. She feels a key component in a child’s growth is family involvement and enjoys teaching them strategies to use at home. Mary is married and has two sons, as well as two fur babies. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exercising, relating, and gardening.

Melissa Rosenberg

Physical Therapist

Melissa is a local, born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has been working with the pediatric population for over 20 years and truly loves it! Melissa enjoys helping children overcome all obstacles- no matter how big or small. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and watching and playing sports when she has free time. She believes it is important to challenge your limits and to not be limited by your challenges.

Brooke Ingraham

Early Interventionist / ITDS

Brooke is excited about being a newly certified Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, entering the field with over 5 years of experience working with developmentally delayed children. She is a Tampa native and received her bachelor’s degree in childhood development from the University of Central Florida in 2019. After working as an applied behavior analysis therapist for several years, she decided she wanted to reach more families and with younger children, which is her passion! Brooke loves being a parent coach and helping families learn new ways to play and interact with their little ones to benefit their development. In her free time, she loves playing with her two French Bulldogs, trying out new recipes, and spending time in the sun!

Andrea V. Huarcaya

Andrea was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She moved to Florida about ten years ago to pursue a better life and a more accomplish education. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s in Psychology in 2019. It brings her joy in life to help children and their families, especially those struggling with mental illnesses. Andrea’s long term goal is to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly among her Latin American community. When she is not working, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and four dogs.

Nadia Newson

Early Interventionist / ITDS

Nadia is a state licensed speech-language pathologist assistant and infant toddler developmental specialist. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science Disorders from the University of South Florida. Nadia has worked with kids for over 15 years in a private practice setting and with the Early Steps. She has a wide range of experience with ages from birth to teenage years; however her passion is working with toddlers. Her professional experience includes learning delays, receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing disorder. Nadia is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and providing families with the tools needed. Nadia loves spending time with her family, crafting and baking.

Devoni Gomez

Devoni is a certified Infant and Toddler Developmental Specialist with over 15 years of experience working with ages 0-3. Devoni is a Tampa native and got her start in the area of Autism and ABA therapy. After spending a few years working in Los Angeles with the Autism population and getting trained in “floor time” therapy methods she came back to Florida to join the Early Steps program. She loves playing with children and teaching parents how to create learning opportunities throughout all daily routines. Devoni has three daughters of her own and enjoys encouraging healthy development throughout all ages.

Fatima Bichoutar

Fatima is a Quality Specialist Coach, Observer, and Assessor in early childcare, as well as an infant toddler developmental specialist. She received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from State College of Florida with over 8 years of experience as a Child Development Associate. Fatima is currently working on her master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. She is passionate about helping children and supporting their growth and development in all domains. She amazingly speaks 4 languages and can support a variety of families. In her spare time, she loves to cook, bake, and create original dishes for her family and friends.

Jordan Pettit

Jordan was born and raised in Colorado, relocating to Florida two year ago. She graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Denver with a bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology and went on to pursue a Master’s in Sport Psychology from the University of Tennessee. Jordan joins Therapy Station with four years of applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience and loves working with toddlers and their families. She enjoys helping them to create routines and increase opportunities for communication. In her free time, she loves spending time with her two young nephews, her husband, and her dog. She also enjoys tending to her growing collection of house plants!

Kierra Jones

Kierra, our Georgia peach, grew up in a small military town in Kingsbay, Georgia. She received her B.A. degree in Communications in 2018 and her B.S. degree in Psychology in 2020. Her career has focused on children with autism and applied behavior analysis. After relocating to Florida in 2021 she began to apply her work in ABA to the birth to three population as an early interventionist. Kierra has always had a passion for working with children to help them reach their full potential. The most fulfilling part of her job is building long-lasting relationships with the kiddos and their parents and being able to assist the family in achieving their child’s goals. When Kierra is not working, she enjoys outdoor sports, working out, and loving her fur baby Sasha.

Rachel Escobar

Early Interventionist / ITDS

Rachel is a certified Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist with a bachelor’s degree in child development and Family Studies. She has experience with early childhood development and, specifically, working with children from birth to five years of age. She knew at a young age that she wanted to work with the pediatric population and enjoys teaching families strategies in their natural environment to encourage ongoing growth in their child’s development. Rachel has two children of her own and they enjoy spending time together and finding new adventures to go on!
